They are ideal for hiking (unless you bush-bash, in which case you want something heavier), adventure running or lightweight alpinism. The jacket is essentially the same as the Mont Bell Rain Trekker jacket (see http://www.iclimb.co.nz/shellwear.htm) but it has no pitzips. Sorry, the Peak Shell jacket has sold out. The pants have quarter-length zips and ultrabreathable Breeze Drytec fabric. Waterproof and seam-sealed. Unisex: sizes XS, S, M and XL only.
